This house on a point of Lake Gaston was a summertime getaway for a Chapel Hill family who loved to be outside, entertain, and snuggle up near a fire. Beyond that, the directive was to make sure they didn't wind up with "just" a boat house in the water. A floating party deck it would be, and plenty of outdoor "living room" areas. Inside, we outfitted the family room with a custom-sized shuffleboard table and added a detached gym with climbing wall. This home is such a favorite of ours!
