Over time, many firms have adopted this description as an illustration of their approach, and we’re often asked what “Turn-Key design service” means to us. Simply put, your project is planned, managed, and delivered so carefully -- from start to finish -- that you could (and might!) leave town and return to a finished, furnished space.
What is the value of a Turn-Key approach?
The process is engineered to eliminate uncertainty. Rather than offering endless options, we develop and refine the right solution, then present it with context. Projects are approached through a comprehensive lense, rather than through a menu of options with varying levels of supervision (and surprises). We take full responsibility for design direction, decision-making, and implementation (on site, and off).
Our work is not about making selections; it's about creating complete environments that are intentional, cohesive, and detailed. A fully integrated approach to space planning, architectural materials, and furnishings is what separates a well-designed room from a home with genuine presence.

About Architectural Design Collaboration
for New Construction
Heather offers an architect-designer collaboration for clients having the earliest conversations with a builder about luxury new construction. An early in-depth design study with Heather reveals client requirements, lifestyle, aesthetics and values. Armed with this information, she can immediately collaborate with the architect to reduce rounds of client revisions and efficiently develop the project’s foundational priorities according. Such upstream advisory sessions with the architect are invaluable, with an outcome of a client-informed design directive.
As independent designer, our only obligation is to the client's vision. At this level, the greatest cost is not the design fee—it’s incomplete consideration, a splintered process, or an investment that doesn’t feel fully considered. We eliminate that risk, and ensure the end result feels intentional in its details - and its process. Many of our most meaningful projects have been new homes where the architecture was exceptional and the materials chosen accordingly.
